THE NUTSHELL

I entered the hospitality industry in 1977, and in 1998, I was introduced to the "World Wide Web" through WebTV. I distinctly remember my first encounter with it, thinking, "This is like having a library at my fingertips. I could easily become addicted to this." It was from that point that I began teaching myself HTML code and embarked on building my very first website. Back then, Google hadn't made its debut, so I traversed the vast expanse of the WWW to gather all things related to bartending, bars, bartenders, cocktails, and more through Webrings, ultimately creating a comprehensive cocktail resource website. I made a conscious decision not to include any affiliates or clickable monetization links; the information was readily available to anyone with an interest in the subject.
